NY-21 voter enrollment up 5.8 percent

New York’s 21st Congressional District added 23,560 active registered voters over the past year, an increase of 5.8 percent, according to a new state Board of Elections report.

The Conservative Party, with an increase of 532 voters, had the highest percentage increase of 8.47 percent.

The Republican Party added 8,836 voters between Feb. 21, 2020 and Feb. 21, 2021, the Democratic Party added 4,413 voters, and the Working Families Party added 45 voters.

Collectively, other third parties lost enrollment.

The following are active registered voter enrollment statistics, as of Feb. 21.

Democrat — 125,227

Republican — 175,232

Conservative — 6,801

Working Families — 1,577

Other — 25,614 (Includes Green, Libertarian, Independence and other organized parties that do not have ballot access status.)

Non-affiliated — 97,242
